Alumni Profile - Jacie Edelstein

Jacie Edelstein (Hickinbotham)

 Jacie graduated from MedCentral College of Nursing in 2009.  She is currently employed by the Baylor Health Care System in Texas.  She is a CVICU nurse at the Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Cardiovascular Hospital.  Jacie received her CCRN certification this past year and is currently working as a charge nurse for three units at Baylor.  While at Baylor, she has had the opportunity to teach review courses for GN interns and CVN prep.

Jacie is the Chair of the Policy and Procedure committee as well as the Co-Chair of the Baylor Health Care System Policy and Procedure Council.

She has also been working on a Heart Failure Education research project that she hopes will be published by 2014.
