On November 14, 2012, several nursing faculty members and students joined Laura Carley, an AU Fashion Merchandising Major and officer of Alpha Delta Pi, to present an educational panel. The panel presentation was titled "Generation Rx: Preventing the Misuse and Abuse of Prescription Medications." The presentation featured material from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and Cardinal Health.
This panel presentation was a sorority and campus-wide event. There were over 100 AU students in attendance.
College of Nursing faculty members involved in this event included Jackie Owens and Patty Clayburn. Nursing students Anne Doup, Christina Pfeifer, and Lauren Miller were also involved.
