Nurses Christian Fellowship Worship Event

Faculty, staff, students and the community gathered on December 1 for the first annual Nurses Christian Fellowship Worship Event. Music was provided by local Christian band "Overcome" as well as testimonies from healthcare providers who shared on how integration of faith is used in practice.

Speakers included Matt Wentz, RN, Kathy Laub, Physical Therapist, Dr. Adam Bihl, Family Practice at Avita (Ontario) and Vanessa Ragozzine, Pharmacy Technician at OhioHealth Mansfield.

The NCF's purpose is to "establish and advance in nursing, within education and practice, witnessing communities of nursing students and nurses who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for God, God’s Word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture and God’s purposes in the world." It is a professional organization and a ministry of and for nurses and nursing students.

Student officers include Katie Runser, Kate Leffler and Brooke Agnes. Faculty advisors include Jeri Berryman and Deanie Kehres.
