Jodie Flynn Presenting at AAFS - 64th Annual Scientific Meeting

Jodie Flynn, MSN, RN, SANE-A, SANE-P, D-ABMDI will be presenting a paper on  "Multiple Gunshot Suicides" with co-presenter, Dr. Stewart Ryckman, MD, F-ABMDI at the 2012 American Academy of Forensic Science (AAFS) annual meeting.  This is the Academy's 64th annual scientific meeting.  This year's meeting is entitled, "Global Research:  The Forensic Science Edge."  The meeting will be held February 20-25, 2012 in Atlanta, Georgia.  At this time, over 800 scientific papers, breakfast seminars, workshops, and other special events will be presented.  The AAFS consists of eleven sections representing a wide range of forensic specialties.  The annual scientific meeting gathers these professionals and presents the most current information, research, and updates in this expanding field.  Mrs. Flynn is an associate member of the AAFS and professional instructor at the Ashland University Dwight Schar College of Nursing. Her clinical specialty is in forensic nursing where she practices as an adult and pediatric sexual assault nurse examiner and forensic nurse death investigator with the Richland County Coroner's office.
