November 2011 APNA Member Profile: Q & A with Peggy Halter, PhD, APRN
The American Psychiatric Nurse Association (APNA) recently featured APNA member Peggy Halter in their November issue. Peggy is Associate Dean at Ashland University's Dwight Schar College of Nursing. She also serves as co-chair of APNA's Institute for Mental Health Advocacy and is a past president of the Ohio Chapter. The article highlights various aspects of Peggy's career including what inspired her to pursue a career in nursing, strong mentors throughout her professional development and current involvement with health advocacy issues.
