James Long Sets New Collegiate Records at Powerlifting Competition

James Long, a senior nursing student at Ashland University recently competed in the USAPL (USA Powerlifting) Ohio Bench Press and Powerlifting State Championships.  The meet was held on Saturday November 19, 2011 in Bedford Heights, Ohio.  

James set new USAPL raw American collegiate records for the following events: Squat 355 pounds, Bench 255 pounds, Deadlift 470 pounds.  That's a grand total of 1080 pounds!  Congratulations James!
