Nursing Faculty Present Research at Transcultural Nursing Society Conference
Department of Nursing Professors Sharon See and Patti Clayburn, both Clinical Assistant Professors; Dr. Jacqueline Owens, Associate Professor; and Brenda DeHaan, Adjunct Nursing Faculty; participated in a panel discussion to present their cultural research, The Influence of Cultural Simulation on Perceptions and Intent to Act, at the 44th Annual Conference of the Transcultural Nursing Society. The conference was held October 17-20, 2018 in San Antonio, TX. The aims of this mixed methods study were to understand the impact of the BaFa BaFa cultural simulation game on senior nursing students’ perceptions about culture and intent to act in their future practice and to inform nurse educators regarding practices to incorporate cultural simulation games.
